James Woods: Will Lois Lerner finally desert the sinking S.S. Obama?

As Twitchy reported, the IRS claims to have lost more than two years of Lois Lerner’s emails, including communications with the White House and other agencies, including the Treasury and Justice Departments and the Federal Election Commission. Actor James Woods wonders if this is a sign that Lerner will jump ship rather than take the fall.

Dick Durbin says Obama ‘will borrow the power’ to solve immigration problem

During a press briefing in the Capitol Thursday, The Hill reports, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) demanded that Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans take action on immigration reform soon.

Or else?

“I don’t know how much more time he thinks he needs, but I hope that Speaker Boehner will speak up today,” Durbin said. “And if he does not, the president will borrow the power that is needed to solve the problems of immigration.”

Borrow the power?

Josh Earnest spins as ‘no strategy’ evolves into ‘intensive discussions’

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was in full spin mode today attempting to tell Americans that President Obama didn’t say what he said yesterday, which was that “we don’t have a strategy yet” for dealing with ISIS.

The “facts” are whatever the White House wants them to be at any given point in time:

Earnest assured Americans they’re really talking about it a lot:

Tonight those “intensive discussions” are taking place at some fundraisers.

‘Never his fault!’ Can you guess who WH blames for Obama’s missing remarks?

In Chicago last night for a DNC fundraiser, President Obama told his audience what happened when he went back to his pre-White-House pad:

President Barack Obama had a chance to visit his house in Chicago, Illinois when he was in the city for a some campaign appearances on Monday and he was apparently greeted by a stack of “unpaid bills.”

“One of the nice things about being home is actually that it’s a little bit like a time capsule. Because Michelle and I and the kids, we left so quickly that there’s still junk on my desk, including some unpaid bills,” Obama said. “I think eventually they got paid — but they’re sort of stacked up. And messages, newspapers and all kinds of stuff.”

Obama’s comment about the “unpaid bills” was subsequently edited out of a copy of the speech distributed by the White House. However, the full quote was preserved by press pool reporters who covered the event. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider on Tuesday asking about the discrepancy.

Well, eventually the White House did respond to the inquiries — with this:

Is that so?

Oh, fer the love of …

There’s only one way the White House’s explanation can possibly be true:

It gets even better:

Good. Lord.

Is Al Sharpton going to help choose the next Attorney General?

On the heels of Eric Holder’s resignation as Attorney General, Al Sharpton claims to be getting involved in helping choose Holder’s successor:

“We are engaged in immediate conversations with the White House on deliberations over a successor whom we hope will continue in the general direction of Attorney General Holder,” Sharpton said in a statement.

Disturbing, but completely believable.

Let's sit back and imagine the media circus if a Fox News host was actively involved in picking the next AG. http://t.co/v3NEWw1bOL

Without a doubt!

Too much to hope for here:

@DLoesch I was hoping that was a @voxdotcom story. Then we would know it couldn't be true.

Because expert! Mad Men star speaks at WH Summit on Working Families [pics]

As Twitchy reported, the Center for American Progress and U.S. Department of Labor are co-hosting a White House Summit on Working Families, complete with a “selfie wall” and lactation room. But it gets even better!

Her qualifications?

She’s not a real struggling single mother, but she plays one on TV! As far as the White House is concerned, that makes her an expert.

Let there be squees:

Seems like pretty good advice given everything that’s happened. But the message just isn’t sinking in. It’s time to bring in the big guns:

Hey, can’t be any less effective than what the White House has done so far.

Heh: Great strategy, champ! We can get on board with THIS Obama strategy

For serious. One of the most shameful events was the appalling fist-bumping pivot to golfo after Obama’s statement on ISIS and the barbaric execution of journalist James Foley. The White House? Whatever guys. No apologies.

But here’s an excellent point:

Yep. We can get on board. Great strategy, champ! Keep being unapologetic, shameless and shameful. It’s totally working for you.

Fist bump? Just when you thought Obama’s golf after Foley presser couldn’t get more sickening … [photo]

National Propaganda Radio: Subject of NPR O-care success story is Dem cheerleader

Boy, Obamacare sure is great, isn’t it? The White House has been trying to tell us that for ages, and with NPR’s help, maybe we’ll finally be convinced.

In a recent episode of “All Things Considered,” NPR’s Nate Rott talked with some people who lacked health insurance before they “enrolled” in Obamacare. Amanda Shelley is one of those people:

NPR Amanda Shelley interview

Isn’t that nice. Dan Simas, deputy senior adviser for communications and strategy at the White House, couldn’t wait to pimp the story:

Here’s the thing, though: Amanda Shelley isn’t just your everyday woman on the street. She’s a dedicated cheerleader for Obama and the Democrats. How dedicated? Well, her Twitter feed, which dates back to September 2012, consists of a grand total of 31 tweets. And all but two of those tweets promote Democrats, the 2012 DNC, Dem organizations, Dem hashtags, and, of course, Barack Obama:

So, a huge Obama fan is also a champion of Obamacare. Who’d’a thunk it?

Here’s a tip, NPR: If you’d like to be taken seriously as anything other than a propaganda arm for the Dems, at least make an effort to vet your sources a little more carefully, mkay?

Guess Shelley found out about our post:

Second Amendment?
