Rob Lowe calls out Pharrell for NFL #LipSyncFail

Flag on the play! Actor Rob Lowe was less than impressed when Packers-Seahawks pre-show entertainer Pharrell Williams suffered a #LipSyncFail during his performance, holding his mic to the crowd while somehow continuing to sing.

That’s true. But it’s still fun to ridicule.

Quite a few tweeters would have been “happy” to have skipped the performance entirely.

Rob Lowe: ‘Are you happy your tax dollars helped free’ Libya?

U.S. Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued a statement Saturday on the evacuation of staff from the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, Libya:

“Unfortunately, this development was predictable, given the lack of direction and leadership from this Administration since it ousted Muammar Gaddafi. Our diplomatic absence will make the hard task of achieving political stability in Libya even harder. When security conditions permit the return of our diplomats, the Administration must give them a new charge to help end the fighting and move Libya forward.”

Actor Rob Lowe doesn’t seem impressed with the United States’ financial investment in Libya. Where’s the outrage?

Here’s a flabbergasted Rob Lowe summing up CDC Ebola presser with 2 words

Heh. As Twitchy reported, “idiocracy was upon us” when the CDC director did a 180 yesterday on Ebola “protocol breach” blame.

Actor Rob Lowe was not impressed and summed it all up:

Wow, this CDC press conference on Ebola is a train wreck. This guy is totally adrift.

— Rob Lowe (@RobLowe) October 13, 2014

@RobLowe He doesn't exactly inspire confidence, does he?

@RobLowe: Wow, this CDC press conference on Ebola is a train wreck. This guy is totally adrift.” #BlameNurse #WarOnWomen

— kit (@kits54) October 13, 2014

@RobLowe Repeatedly saying over the last few weeks that we would stop ebola in its tracks surprisingly didn't stop it in its tracks.

— Jessica Heddings (@JessicaHeddings) October 13, 2014

@RobLowe I get the feeling that the so called "experts" have no idea what they're doing.

— Jason (@DrSlappyShorts) October 13, 2014

But … but … Top Men!

And an exit wish:

@RobLowe I wish someone was qualified to answer that phone call at 3am.

— Wayne Lauton (@1SG_WayneLauton) October 13, 2014

It’s not funny, because it’s true.

Sochi snark: Rob Lowe notices something missing from Olympics coverage

Amen. And that’s not all:

Including Twitter! As Twitchy reported, Rob Lowe also weighed in on the Sochi Olympics by zinging Putin over the empty seats and American Exceptionalism.

He upped the funnies with this tweet about bathroom-door-busting U.S. bobsledder Johnny Quinn as well:

And then came this Sochi snark:

Ha! Yes, funny that.

“The Outsiders” author S.E. Hinton replied as well.

Sad truth. But, speaking of “The Outsiders,” here is an easy-on-the-eyes distraction:

You’re welcome.

Never change, Mr. Lowe. We’ll leave you with this Waffle House-loving (again) Rob Lowe retweet:

What would Waffle House do? Words to live by!

‘Think Rob Lowe can’t get any sexier’? Actor surprises (‘in a good way!’)

Actor Rob Lowe has long been a Twitchy favorite for his snarky digs at CNN’s water carriers and his refusal to toe the Hollywood leftist line.

Lowe is promoting his new memoir “Love Life” this week.

In a New York Times Magazine interview, the registered Independent said, “[M]y days of just ticking the party box are long over. I judge the candidates for who they are.”

More from the interview:

So what do you believe? My thing is personal freedoms, freedoms for the individual to love whom they want, do with what they want. In fact, I want the government out of almost everything.

Yes, a Twitchy thread on this is pretty much obligatory. More of this in the entertainment industry, please:

Watch out, Greg Gutfeld. Competition:
