Susan Rice: Tel Aviv bus bombing not a ‘spontaneous reaction to a video’

In an out-of-character move, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice condemned today’s bus bombing in Tel Aviv as a “terrorist attack.”

@ambassadorrice Thanks for acknowledging it as terrorism.

MT“@ambassadorrice: condemn today’s terrorist attack targeting innocents on Tel Aviv bus”Rice is quick to call THIS a TERRORIST ATTACK

See. Saying “terrorism” isn’t so hard. * pat, pat * MT @ambassadorrice I condemn attack in Tel Aviv. Terrorism is never justified. #Israel

Amb. Rice does seem to like condescending pats on the head. She prefers them from President Obama, but hey, this one will have to do.

But is she sure that this knock-you-over-the-head obvious terror attack in Israel wasn’t a “spontaneous reaction to a video“?

@ambassadorrice I heard they were upset by a YouTube video

.@ambassadorrice Are you sure Tel Aviv was not a spontaneous protest? Not workplace violence?#GutsyCall #TerroristAttack

For now, it’s a terrorist attack. But, you know, official talking points are subject to heavy revision.
